Entries are now open for the 2019 Run with Catherina, which will take place on Sunday 28th of April in Cavan town   The race will stay in April to celebrate the 20 Year anniversary of Catherina’s European Cross Country Championship win, and her third consecutive Silver medal in the World Cross Country Championships.

Cavan town will be hosting the 5th annual RunwithCatherina road race on the 28th April to celebrate the achievements of Olympian Catherina McKiernan. Catherina, from Cornafean, is one of Ireland's greatest athletes. Its the 20th anniversary of Catherina’s fantastic London Big City Marathon win.  Catherina is Ireland's most successful marathon runner, winning the Berlin marathon  (her first ever marathon) and then adding the London, Amsterdam marathon and Paris half marathon titles. Catherina still holds the Irish Record for the marathon.
