Co Cavan Track & Field Championships
Fantastic individual performances from Annalee athletes over both days
Cian O’Reilly completed a clean sweep of the Co Cavan Senior Mens Championship titles over the 2012-2013 season. Cian won both the Senior Men’s 1500m and 3000m races at the 2013 County Cavan track & field championships to add to the Senior Men’s 10k Cross Country Championship title he won in December and the 10k Road Race in March 2103. Clodagh O'Reilly achieved the European Youth Olympic Festival Standard when she ran 10:10s (well under the performance standard of 10:15s) and won the 3000m in the Finn Valley Open T&F.

Just 2 weeks after completing the Connemara Ultrathon, Diana Hogan Murphy ran in the ill fated Boston Marathon. Diana completed the race and was at the finish line area when the bombs went off. Click here for her account of what happened next.
Diana Hogan Murphy ran the Connemara Ultrathon (39.3miles) on April 7th and completed the race on a gusty cold day in a brilliant 6 hours and 10minutes to finish 4th Senior Lady.
