Annalee win the 2014 Cross Country Championship.

Cian O’Reilly retained his title of Co Cavan Senior Cross Country Champion while both Men and Ladies teams placed second. Annalee won the overall title having accumulated the most points over the three days and the club comfortably retained the final championship title of the year. Many thanks to Sean and Ciaran O’Reilly, Mark and Martin for course preparation and to Martina, Martin, Geraldine, Antoinette and Niamh for providing refreshments. Thanks also to Farnham national School, Roy McCabe for permission to use the land and to Tony Brady.

Double Gold for Clodagh and for the U11 Boys team in All Ireland Cross Country Championships in Santry today!!
The U11 Boys team of Odhran O’Reilly, Donncha McNamara, Donal McSorley, Conall Mooney, Luke Gilmartin and Martin Donohoe are the 2014 All Ireland Cross Country Champions. Odhran, Donncha and Donal were also scoring runners for the medal winning Ulster team and Odhran and Donncha won their third medal of the day for their indiviual 6th and 7th place finishes. The County team was 4th, just 5 points behind Donegal. The Girls U13 team finished 10th of 16 teams with Lucy Hogan winning a team silver medal as she was the second Ulster runner home.
Clodagh won the U19 Girls All Ireland Cross Country Championship title finishing well clear of the rest and showing good form as she prepares to run on the Irish team in the upcoming European Cross Country Championships. Well done to all the runners.

Thanks to everyone who supported the Table Quiz in Brady’s Bar by either attending and/or sponsoring prizes. Thanks to Martin, Carmel and Peter for organising the night. It was a great success with valuable funds raised for club equipment.

All Ireland Even Ages XC Championships, Dundalk
Clodagh O'Reilly adds more individual All Ireland medals to her substantial collection. Clodagh was second in the U18s and 3rd overall in the combined U18/Junior race which should ensure her selection for the European Cross Country Championships. Well done Clodagh.
Donncha McNamara was a superb 10th in the U12 Boys running a year out of age. The Boys team were an excellent 4th in the club competition while the Cavan county team was also 4th. Lucy Hogan was on the medal winning Ulster team in the U12 Girls.

Excellent performances in the Uneven Ages& Novice Cross Country Championships at Killinkere with winners at U9 (Cait O’Reilly, Cormac Crotty), U11(Odhran O’Reilly), U15 (Ciaran O’Reilly), U19 (Aodhagam Watters & Clodagh O’Reilly) and Novice (Sinead O’Sullivan) levels.
